A representative from the Weinberg Northeast Regional Food bank will visit the library to register Luzerne County residents 60 years old and older in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) made available by the United States Department of Agriculture.The CSFP provides a box of non-perishable food once a month to qualified individuals.
The library hosts a monthly themed tea party. May: Disney Cats; June: Please Play and Manners; July: Tropical Island Vacation; and August: All About the Library. The program is free to children ages 3 and older. Space is limited, call to register.
Children will have the chance to display their classic and Matchbox cars at the library and at the Wyoming Methodist Church. Classic cars will be on display in the parking lot. Lunch items and ice cream will be on sale at the church and proceeds benefit the church. Please call the library to register.
